Frightened

I have to say that Doom 3 is the scariest damn game I’ve ever played. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve jumped out of my skin already. I even stopped playing it for a few months cuz my damn nerves were shot.

Google Bugle

Ha. Not quite. Consider it poetic license.

Check out Google Suggest. Nifty idea. Don’t know if it’s gonna catch on though.*

Back to work

After a really long holiday (been at home since the 5th December), I’m due back at work tomorrow (Joy!). As you can imagine, I’m really looking forward to it. Ahh well, back to the grindstone.

New Look

New year, new face.

I’ve decided to change the look of the site for awhile. A fresh pair of underwear! :)

Hope you like it.

Google Gloom

Dear Google,

I just wanted to tell you that I hate you. Just because I live and surf the web from South Africa does not mean that when I type www.google.com I want to be redirected to www.google.co.za. I don’t care that it may search the same content as the main google site. It’s just the principle of the thing. If I wanted www.google.co.za, I would type www.google.co.za.

You suck.

Wiki Wonders

You may have noticed a new link on the menu called Wiki. Yeah, I finally got around to installing a wiki. Not for any particular purpose, mind you, but because I was bored and just wanted one. You know how it usually goes, though. You get what you want, and you don’t know what to do with it. So, now what? No clue. Guess I’ll leave it there for the time being, until I muster up enough boredom to go fiddle with it some more.

I found a new author (thanks to that friend of mine), his name is Brian Haig. I started with his second book, Mortal Allies, and now I’m reading his first book, Secret Sanction. Blame the fucked up order I read books on my friend who passes them along in the wrong order. The jerk. I read Mortal Allies in one day. It’s been awhile since I’ve read a book that I couldn’t put down. I finished it at 2am.
