So it’s Christmas Eve here in sunny South Africa. It’s a barmy 30 degrees celcius or so - and it’s 9pm!
I’ve just put the gammon (ham) into the oven. Gonna cook that sucker tonight, and start the turkey early in the AM.
I haven’t posted here very much recently. I’ve been quite busy with my other website. If I post here as much as I post there, this site would probably be quite popular.
What happens to the time?
It wasn’t that long ago that it was the beginning of 2005, with a whole year stretching ahead of us. Now we’re fast approaching 2006, and it seems like we got lost somewhere along the way.
This coming Friday (the 16th), is the wedding of a long time friend of mine (Hi Gav!). It’s about frikkin’ time!
Let me take this opportunity to say a few words:
Please don't be fooled
'Cos it's not over yet
There is still time
And some things left unsaid
But stand proud, stand tall, look round
You've done the impossible and
here's to you
You've found yourself, and it's about time
Unspoken words
Lead to hours of time
Time is what stands
In the way of what was
But stand proud, stand tall, look round
You've done the impossible and
here's to you
You've found yourself, and it's about time
Everyone knows that you won't be told no
Any, any more,
any more...
any more...
Let it be known
That the test has begun
People have died
And their lives left unsung
But stand proud, stand tall, look round
You've done the impossible and
here's to you
You've found yourself, and it's about time
