I received another statement from [Afrox Medispeed][1] for my CPAP machine – this one marked as ‘overdue’.
So I phoned the rep this morning to find out why they had not yet submitted the claim to my medical aid, and she basically told me that she had no idea as she has _nothing_ to do with that side of things, and I should phone X.
So, I phone X, and ask her why they haven’t submitted the claim to my medical aid. She says to me, “but you’re a private patient!”
Uhh… lady… why would I be asking about my medical aid if I was a private patient?
Anyway, it seems that some twat data capturer had loaded me onto their systems as a private patient, despite the fact that I had provided the rep with all my information. Or maybe it’s the rep that is the twat. Who knows?
* I hope people are getting my subtext here, ie maybe it’s not a good idea to deal with Afrox Medispeed.
