Things are looking up…

In some of my previous posts, I had been bitching about my job and my work environment. There is now light at the end of the tunnel… here’s hoping it’s not a train.
I resigned last Friday, to my boss’s utter horror. She seemed genuinely flabbergasted, and spluttered and asked me what it would take to make me stay, etc.
Why is it that they wait until you resign before they ask you that?
Anyway, to make a not so long story even shorter, my oldest brother told me his (new) company were looking for people, so I sent along my CV. I got the job.
I’m looking forward to it. It’s a bit different than what I’ve been doing for the past 7 years - it’s not a desk job, that’s for sure. I’m just worried that I won’t be able to cope, since the current job has put me in to such a rut.
